Rolling Hills Blue Star Moms has participated in the Folsom Community Service Day, a city-wide volunteerism day with over 2000 Folsom residents and friends completing more than 70 community service projects throughout the city of Folsom.
We prepared for our community service day project, "Care Packages for Military", on Friday, September 16th by gathering all the donations that were received through our Annual Drive Through Donation Drive at the Steve Miklos Aquatic Center & Folsom City Hall; drives at both Benevento Chiropractic and Century 21 Realtors in Folsom; various Girl Scout Troops, and the community's generosity by dropping off donations at our blue bin at the Hall and many sending them through our Amazon Smile Wish List.
This year, like last, was a bit different, we had a fantastic Folsom Community Service Day pack on a beautiful day on the lawn of the Folsom Veterans Hall. We packed 350 boxes going to the USS Delbert S. Black Destroyer, troops in Poland, Jordan and places around the world.
Huge thanks go out to the City of Folsom, the Folsom Veterans Hall, the Sacramento Sea Cadets and National Charity League Ladies who were instrumental in sorting and setting up for the pack! Thank you to all the organizations for their generosity and continued support of our organization.
Finally, thank you to the many, many volunteers that made this the 9th successful care packaging event; we couldn't do what we do without you! Cheers to another successful Folsom Community Service Day!
Have more photos, please email to webmaster@rollinghillsbluestarmoms.org and we will post them!

Keller Williams Realty RED Day 2023
May 11, 2023
We had an amazing day today. All these wonderful Keller Williams Realty volunteers came out to pack care packages. They supplied all the items that were packed!!! They sorted, they organized, they made toiletry bags, flattened boxes, they hauled away the cardboard, they covered the over $2000 in postage costs and even brought the completed care packages to the Post Office! And, even assisted in reorganizing our storage container!!!WOW! I am so proud of all they accomplished and feel so blessed that they choose us for their 2023 RED DAY Charity Day! Special thanks to Warfighter Overwatch for arranging and assisting with postage costs too. Heartfelt thanks go out to each and every one of you!
